Here you'll find all of our special events - races that some of the LETC squad are participating in, and any club meetings or events *outside* of the usual schedule of coaching and training sessions. Ask one of LETC's coaches if you're interested in learning more about anything you see here.

More fun than it sounds, this is your chance to influence the direction of the club in 2026. Held at the Chequers Inn, Breaston, it's open to both adult and junior members.

THE NORTHUMBRIAN
Full and Half Distance Triathlon in and around beautiful Kielder Water. Expect an extremely demanding course but you get a cycling jersey when you finish, and it's very affordable (as tris go!).

THE HELVELLYN TRIATHLON
"One of the toughest and most beautiful races in the UK. With the options to compete in a Triathlon, Aquabike and Relay."
Starting with a swim in Ullswater and finishing with an ascent of Helvellyn, with the infamous "The Struggle" cycle climb in between, this is not one for the faint-hearted!

Fast, flat and local - what more could you ask for? There's a Sprint event on Saturday 16th May, and the 70.3 on the Sunday (which you can complete as a relay, or there's an aquabike option).
